The International Conference on Ocean Studies is meant to be the Pacific discussion platform for dedicated scientists, academics, professionals, industry, and students in the World Ocean research and development. During this annual four-day-long event, participants are welcome to join technical and plenary sessions and exhibit. The conference is organized by the M.D. Ageev Institute for Marine Technology Problems FEB RAS and the IEEE Russia (Far Eastern) Subsection in cooperation with the Institute of Automation and Control Processes FEB RAS and V.I. Il'ichev Pacific Oceanological Institute FEB RAS.

Scope: The conference focuses on hardware, software, and algorithmic developments and approaches for World Ocean research and exploration. The main emphasis is put on marine robotics and related areas including autonomous underwater and surface vehicles, remotely controlled vehicles, underwater communications, and navigation. As these areas heavily depend on sound propagation in the seawater, attention is also paid to computational acoustics, seismo-acoustics, and oceanography and its applications. The implementation of mentioned technologies for underwater environmental monitoring is also considered alongside with marine ecosystem simulation techniques and its digital twins.

Field of interest:

Accepted and presented full papers will be submitted for inclusion into IEEE Xplore Digital Library subject to meeting IEEE Xplore’s scope and quality requirements.
IEEE has agreements with almost all of the top publishers, including Clarivate Analytics (formerly Thomson Reuters), Elsevier (Compendex, ScienceDirect, and Scopus), Google Scholar, ACM, IET etc.
